THIS YOGA IS FOR EVERY BODY

Carol Kissler – I am a yoga Seeker and work with the holistic health model of body, mind and soul.  I practice meditation, breath and postures daily.  My goal as a teacher is to empower and help my students experience a greater sense of well being through their experience of yoga, which they can then carry into their daily lives.
I believe yoga is a process of discovery that is somewhat different for each student, yet brings an awareness of the body, mind and spirit and how they interconnect.  By listening to the body rather than the mind, at times students will find themselves going deeper into a posture then they would have imagined.  Thebody has its own intelligence and the more we work with this intelligence the greater the returns.  The empowering and transformational experiences in yoga can then transfer into positive empowerment in ones daily life.  Yoga practice has the potential to lead to greater peace, inner harmony and help us become  healthy happy human beings.
As a Yoga Teacher I always try to create a light and positive atmosphere in appropriately challenging classes.  My intention is to provide encouragement for each student so they feel comfortable and secure as they find their own rhythm and pace.  This way they are more likely to keep coming back and move beyond old self-imposed limits into a new and wonderful experience of themselves.Yoga brings me back to my centre, it makes me feel like everything is going to be all right, it empowers me to live my dreams, it makes me happy and keeps my body in shape.  I am honoured in the presence of my students and hope to guide them into empowering and joyful experiences each time we are together.

TJ Pelfrey – Living in balance through the practice of yoga, I began seeking spiritual guidance through the wise. Experiencing the trials of adversity that come from seeking self reliance, while keeping my heart close to the gift of this life.
I started practicing wholeheartedly 13 years ago, taking on many forms of meditation and yoga, becoming familiar with my expanding capabilities of mind and body. Enlightening my understanding to what is and how to truthfully be connected to the universe, while playing my vital part in the now, as well as sharing our daily struggles. I love humanity with admiration to individuality and I recognize that polarities exist , as well as the confusion it may cause. While finding my own personal strength through the process of action, while giving thanks to the infinite creation in every mindful moment.

Julia Mark – I’ve been fortunate to be given the opportunity to teach at the intersection of roads named Giving Way and Kindness Avenue for over 25 years at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. A wonderful influence on my style and outlook on life, which overflows into my yoga practice and my practice of teaching yoga. I’ve been teaching yoga for the last eight years. Presently, I’m actively instructing a yoga class of 40 High School students. They are all experiencing their individual flexibility. strength, balance, breathe work, and deep relaxation/ rejuvenation through Yoga Nidra the last 10 minutes of every class. All of which, I happily practice as well on my yoga journey.
